1984 Grand Banks 36 TS classic trawler Tuatara

This classic design with its twin Lehman 125-hp diesel engines provides reliable performance, and comfort. The two stateroom layout sleeps 4. The extensive equipment inventory includes an Onan 8 KW generator (overhauled in 2008), Lofrans Tigress windlass, 45# CQR Plow anchor, 35# CQR plow anchor, 35# Danforth, 200' 5/16 Galvanized chain, 200' 5/8 nylon anchor rode, 100' 1/2 nylon line, 9'3” Achilles inflatable  with 4-stroke 2 HP Honda outboard,  Dyer Sailing Dinghy, Bimini top & weather curtains, Captain’s chair in saloon, teak swim platform with stainless swim ladder, 12V plug-in searchlight.  The aft stateroom features a 54” queen master berth to starboard and a single berth to port, with a bureau built-in to the aft bulkhead between the berths. Steps lead up through doors to the aft companionway.

The enclosed head compartment is ensuite to starboard with a sink & mirrored vanity, curtained shower and a Wilcox Crittenden manual toilet, installed in 2007. The saloon contains a straight berth/seat aft and to port, with a removable filler piece to provide access to the port saloon door. An L-shaped settee is to starboard, behind a large teak dining table with an oversized folding leaf. A small bar with hinged top and an icemaker/freezer is installed just forward of the starboard settee. 

The galley is forward on the port side and is equipped with a white mica countertop with teak trim, a Princess 3-burner propane stove with oven, Norcold 12V/110V refrigerator, single stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, 110V grill, microwave, toaster, Cuisinart coffee maker, dish storage cabinet, pots and pans, stainless steel service, plates & bowls, cups, mugs & glasses for 6. The forward cabin has a large V-berth with drawers beneath and a hanging locker to port. The enclosed head is to starboard with a curtained shower, sink with pressurized hot & cold water, countertop & mirrored vanity and a Groco manual head installed in 2001. Blankets & pillows are supplied, sheets & towels are not. Electronic navigation equipment includes; a Robertson autopilot with remote, a Garmin GPSMAP 2206 colour chart plotter, a Furuno 1721 NavNet  colour radar and a VHF radio on the flybridge and a Furuno NavNet GP50 GPS, a NorthStar 952 XW colour GPS, a Ray Marine depth sounder, a Furuno RD30 depth sounder and an ICOM VHF radio at the lower helm station. Magnetic steering compasses are built-in at both helm stations. 30,000 BTU CruiseAir reverse cycle two zone air units regulate the interior climate for both staterooms as well as the main salon.
